bullet

What will my donation/membership dues be used for?

BikePAC of Idaho, to a large degree, is in the information business. Our purpose is to inform those around us about the issues that concern and effect motorcyclists. This can include working to ensure that student drivers are given the opportunity to understand more about sharing the road safely with motorcycles via a Motorcycle Awareness Class. Or, sitting down to discuss motorcycle issues with an Idaho legislator before or during a legislative session.

It can also mean informing and educating motorcycle riders, too. Motorcyclists need to better understand and participate in the legislative process because it will affect us even if we don't understand it or make time to participate in the process. Motorcycle riding courses are a big part of motorcycle safety for obvious reasons. All of these priorities mentioned, as well as others, need our support in the form of time/involvement and money. To succeed we need both!

Mailings to members and supporters, maintaining this web site, sending knowledgeable people to speak to our legislators during a legislative session on behalf of motorcyclists, purchasing supplies needed to conduct motorcycle awareness classes, etc. are examples of the types of things that donations and membership dues would be used for by BikePAC of Idaho.
